What a solar system includes

Panels generate direct-current electricity. An inverter converts it for suitable electrical use. Batteries store energy where included in the design. Grid-connected, off-grid and hybrid systems have different arrangements and limitations.

Before comparing quotations

Ask which equipment, installation, protection equipment, approvals, transport, taxes and after-sales support are included. Confirm warranty conditions, service responsibility and payment milestones.

Your site matters

Ask for a site assessment covering usable roof space, shading, roof condition, electrical safety and your actual electricity use. A catalogue listing cannot establish a suitable system size, savings, payback or subsidy eligibility.
